works on progress is a project that questions whether images we see in magazines, namely national geographic, are really as them seem. i use pages of images to create new images as a way to alter a defined reality. the images are a collection of shots from the studio, as well as installation views from a collaborative show between master of fine arts students and master of arts in art history students at the george washington university. the title of the show, traces, refers to the sketch process that an artist goes through from starting, working through, and finishing a project.
